Mix 3 to 5 drops of ginger oil with one ounce of carrier oil like coconut oil and grape seed oil. Massage your stomach with this mixture. Repeat this two to three times a day.
Peppermint Oil :
It contains antispasmodic properties which can help to relax the muscles of the digestive tract. This, in turn, makes the bowel movements easier and relieves constipation.
What do you need to do?
Mix two drops of peppermint oil with one tsp. of warmed carrier oil like that of coconut or grape seed. Then, massage your abdomen with it and inhale the aroma. The massage will help to stimulate the movement of the bowel and inhaling it will relax those muscles.
Fennel Oil :
Fennel seed or saunf is a powerful digestive stimulant. It can act as a stimulant when eaten, hence it treats constipation in an effective way.
How to use it?
Take a few drops of fennel seed essential oil and mix them with a small amount of any other oil. In a gentle manner, massage your stomach with this mixture. You must do this two to three times a day to get suitable results.
Lemon Oil :
The lemon essential oil has a high concentration and contains a number of antioxidants which help to improve digestion. The combination of these two factors helps to run the digestion processes in a smooth manner. Thereby, giving relief from constipation.
What do you have to do?
Take some lemon oil and mix with a carrier oil (for example coconut oil) and massage your stomach. Avoid coming in contact with sunlight after using this remedy.
Basil Oil :
Basil or Tulsi has been a part of traditional medicines for relieving upset stomach and reduce gas. In addition to this, it helps to reduce the pain related with constipation problem.
What do you need to do?
Take a few drops of basil essential oil in and place them in a bowl of hot water. Then, breathe in the steam. The other option is that you can add few drops of this oil into your bath water.
Marjoram Oil :
This is another essential oil which helps to improve the function of the digestive system. It is helpful in relaxing the muscles of the stomach and thereby gives relief from constipation.
How to use it?
Take a few drops of marjoram oil and add it into hot steaming water. After this, keep a towel over your head and the bowl. Breathe in the steam to get desired results.
