If you eat right things, you not only feel better and get more energy but also your body will get some vital nutrients i.e. Protein, Carbohydrate, Fat, Vitamins, Minerals & Fiber which are beneficial for your overall health. Foods like whole grains, fish, nuts, eggs, poultry and lean meats, fat-free or low-fat dairy foods such as yogurt and fortified milk, and unsaturated fats like olive oil and avocados contain high nutritional value. Stay away from the CRAP foods i.e. Carbonated drinks, Refined sugar, Alcohol & Processed food etc. These foods have little or no nutritional value and can cause harm to your health. Balanced nutrition is required to maintain a good health.
3. Get enough Sleep:
The amount of sleep required varies from individuals to individuals. Sleep is essential for the healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels. A sound sleep helps in balancing your body’s hormones and supports your body’s growth and development. Our immune system also depends on adequate sleep to remain strong and function properly. Your body required adequate sleep to maintain a good health.
4. Reduce Stress:
Stress management is very important to maintain a good health. It is obvious that stress can’t be avoided, it can be controlled. When stress is repeated, excessive and left untreated, at that time physical health problems like high blood pressure, weakened the immune system, and mental issues (depression and lack of concentration) may take place.To manage your stress and help keep your body healthy, exercise, yoga, meditation or participating in stress-reduction programs are effective ways are considered as effective strategies.
5. Drink lots of Water:
Water is an essential nutrient that makes up between 60 and 70 percent of the human body. Every cell in our body requires sufficient water to function properly. Water maintains body temperature, movements of nutrients and waste materials through our body, helps normalize blood pressure. Hydrate your body through adequate water intake. It not only help you to maintain a good health but also good for your skin.
6. Avoid Smoking or use of Tobacco:
Smoking and use of tobacco are harmful habits. They can cause heart disease and mouth, throat, or lung cancer. Smoking leads to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The sooner you quit, the better you feel. If you really love your body it is mandatory to cease smoking and tobacco use to keep your health good.
7. Limit your Alcohol Intake:
An excessive intake can cause harm to your liver. It can also give rise to cancer, such as throat, liver, or pancreas cancer. To maintain a good health, you should cut down your alcohol intake. With the healthy habit, you can enjoy a healthy life.
