Sip these Herbal Teas to Get Relief from Constipation

In the fast pacing life, people have no time to look after themselves. This ignorant nature of them is the invitation to various health problems. Regular drinking of water and other fluids is one of the best ways to prevent or treat constipation. This is because the more hydrated you are, the better lubricated your intestines are. Thus, more moisture remains in your stools.

It is a well-known natural remedy for digestive issues like constipation and gastric pains. The calming effect of menthol in the peppermint helps to relax the stomach and moves the stools through the intestines.

Take a tsp. of fresh peppermint leaves and steep them in a pot of hot water for 10 minutes. Then strain out the leaves and allow it to cool and drink it.

Dandelion Tea :

Dandelion is an herb which has mild laxative properties. You can add dandelion to boiling water and drink it as an herbal tea. Consuming this tea can help to retain water in the stools. Plus the laxative effects help to ease constipation by maintaining the regular bowel movement.

Senna Leaves Tea :

Senna is a well-known herb for treating constipation. Many herbal laxatives use this as a prime ingredient. It exerts a stimulant laxative effect by irritating the lining of the intestines which helps your bowel movements get moving.
