Food intolerance occurs due to lack of some specific enzymes to break down certain enzymes present in food.Such intolerance can lead to stomach pain, associated withbloating, gas, constipation, or diarrhea. A common source of abdominal pain is Peptic ulcer disease or ulcers in the stomach and duodenum. Pain occurs after a meal and usually strikes the mid-upper abdominal area.
