Such type of constipation can be treated with cooling and lubrication of the colon.

Kapha :

When the vata dosha becomes prevailing in the colon, the body tries to balance out things by producing more colonic mucus. Eventually, the colon is clogged with mucus which is kapha-based constipation. Taking mucus-forming foods in this condition can worsen the problem. Treatment of this type of constipation can be done by removing the mucus with the help of astringent and pungent herbs.

Senna :

Triphala :

Ghritkumari (Aloe Vera) :
