The Ayurvedic Approach

Drink at least 2 liter of warm water per day. It helps to balance Vata’s cold quality. You must drink water away from meals- at least 20 minutes before or one hour after eating. Daily routine of consuming herbal tea also help to relieve from constipation
- Eat plenty of fruits:
Fruits are fibrous, hydrating and helps to pacify Vata. Prefer peaches, peeled apples, soaked raisins, ripe bananas, and soaked prunes. Chew fruits properly and prefer eating fruits at least one hour before or after other foods.
- Drink Fruits juices: Prune juices or Pineapple juices are most beneficial and you can also dilute it with water.
